After several consultations about a water leak that was going through my bath-tub, and after it was determined that this was not due to piping troubles, I consulted tile specialists who wanted to take apart and re-do the entire tiling in my master bathroom shower. Chris was different. He carefully listened to my concerns, and proposed fixing only what was necessary for a fraction of the price I had been quoted before. He ended up steam cleaning, hand buffing, and sealing the tiles in the entire shower. Nothing had to be replaced. The work did the job. No more leaks since. Chris is a competent, sensitive professional with excellent communication skills. He was sensitive enough to take off his shoes when stepping into my bath tub to take a close look at the work to be done. This was a first for me, and I really appreciated it. He even gave me some advice on a couple of unrelated issues I was having with my toilet flush. I feel I have found a resource and someone I can go back to in the future with any tile problems that may come up.
Just a note to let you know the job is done and all 4 parts look great! Steve did a terrific job ... good, old-fashion quality work. We're very pleased with the results. I had serious doubts that anything could make that old drab, non-shiny stone floor look less unattractive but the Sir Grout solution made a world of difference.
I contacted Sir Grout based on Angie's list ratings. Owner Chris Wyand came to the house, reviewed our needs, and explained options. Within a day he e-mailed detailed invoice and cost information and appointment date was set. Two Sir Grout staff members arrived promptly on the day of the appointment. Both were very professional, friendly, polite and neat. They set to work immediately and worked for several hours. Our kitchen floor, shower enclosure and bathtub now look brand new. They provided written care instructions at the completion of the job. We were very pleased with the work. Owner Chris followed up with an e-mail thanking us for our business which I thought was very nice. We would definitely recommend Sir Grout.
Excellent service on all fronts, from initial contact to follow-up to make sure service was what we wanted/expected. I'm critical of any work done at my home and Sir Grout was extremely thorough and professional. I was consulted from time to time on matters, such as matching grout color, and when the job was done, Chris thoroughly explained the do's and don'ts of granite, products to use/not to use, etc. The technicians were very pleasant in their manner, answered my myriad questions expertly and all in all the experience was A+.
Sir Grout did an outstanding job of restoring our travertine tile! We had bought a home that had been vacant for a number of years. The 1400 square feet of tile was dull and pitted. We had asked at least six different tile shops for help. No one had any idea! Sir Grout was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. We could not be happier with the results! Eddie Moleros at Sir Grout is my hero. We were selling our UES coop and the limestone floors and bathroom had been badly stained and cracked by our renters. I got Sir Grout through the internet, they gave me a reasonable estimate, and I held my breath and hired them. When Eddie's workmen finished and I inspected it, there was one place I was dissatisfied with and I thought I would have to live with it; but Eddie himself came back the next day, redid the work and some additional work -- and would not accept an additional dime, even though I offered to pay for his time. He only wanted me to be thoroughly satisfied.
Results are spectacular - I sold my apartment the first day on the market!
