It was quite the time getting the appointment scheduled due to a shift in employees; however, the Sir Grout office staff worked with us and remained in communication for the transition from the original contractor to another seamlessly.
When the time came, Harry and Alex arrived to repair two full bathrooms on the second story. The hours they put in to ensure the work was done — and done perfectly — does not go unnoticed.
The following two weeks, we had another bathroom on the lower level repaired, along with a full kitchen and laundry room. It was not an easy job. Alex and a co-worker (not Harry) arrived to do the job. Alex took initiative and assessed what repairs were necessary and communicated how to best go about completing the three large tasks.
Due to no fault of Alex, there were some larger issues that happened with the work done in the kitchen and laundry room. Alex completed the bathroom repairs while the co-worker left for the day. Alex remained on site well into the evening to attempt to see what could be done to correct the issues. He communicated with the office of Sir Grout. He also communicated with us and was most apologetic.
Alex and Sir Grout came up with a plan to correct the issues left in the kitchen and the laundry room. Alex returned a few days later and tackled the jobs. He not only corrected the issues that were left — he went above and beyond with his workmanship, his positive attitude, and his professional manner.
In a time such as that, where one is left to clean up a mistake by another person, how one responds in that type of situation is a true measure of character. Alex rose to the occasion!
I would not trust any tile work to anyone other than Alex or Harry from Sir Grout Central New Jersey. They are terrific!

Sir Grout earned 5 stars because of the professionalism of the owner Ryan, the friendliness of the crew, the very reasonable pricing (lower than I expected), and most of all for the results. There is a night and day difference between how our floors looked before and how they look now. Similarly, they did a great job with our shower. It is clear that Ryan takes pride in his work and makes sure that his crew works to his standard. If there are any issues along the way, Ryan will address them.
